दीपावली पर सरकार का तोहफा : पेट्रोल और डीजल हुआ सस्ता
नई दिल्ली। पेट्रोल और डीजल पर उत्पादक शुल्क (petrol diesel excise duty) कल यानी 4 नवंबर से 5 रुपए और 10 रुपए कम कर दिया गया है।
उत्पाद शुल्क (petrol diesel price excise duty) में कटौती को लेकर संबंधिक अधिकारी ने कहा कि डीजल पर पेट्रोल के मुकाबले दोगुना टैक्स घटाया गया है. इससे किसानों को सबसे ज्यादा फायदा होगा. रबी फसल के सीजन की शुरुआत हो रही है. कृषि के काम में इस्तेमाल होने वाले उपकरण मुख्य रूप से डीजल पर चलते हैं. ऐसे में डीजल के रेट में कटौती से किसानों को बड़ी राहत मिलेगी. केंद्र ने राज्यों को भी VAT में कटौती की अपील की है. वैट को राज्य सरकारें वसूलती हैं. अगर इसमें कटौती होती है तो अलग-अलग राज्यों में पेट्रोल-डीजल के रेट में उसी अनुरूप गिरावट देखने को मिलेगी.
