महाराज ने पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों को पंचायतों के सशक्तिकरण का दिया मंत्र
देहरादून। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में ही जम्मू-कश्मीर में पंचायतों का गठन संभव हो पाया है। इसलिए अब पंचायतों को सशक्त करने के लिए आपको बढ़-चढ़कर आगे आना चाहिए।
उक्त बात प्रदेश के पंचायतीराज,लोक निर्माण, पर्यटन, सिंचाई, ग्रामीण निर्माण, जलागम, धर्मस्व एवं संस्कृति मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने जिला पंचायत कार्यालय सभागार (गौरव होटल) में सोमवार को जम्मू-कश्मीर से पंचायतों की कार्यप्रणाली समझने उत्तराखण्ड आए सैकडों पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों को संबोधित करते हुए कही।
पंचायत मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने जम्मू-कश्मीर से आये पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों से कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के प्रयासों से आपको चुनाव का अधिकार मिला है और पंचायतों का गठन संभव हो पाया है। इसलिए अब पंचायतों को सशक्त करने के लिए आपको बढ़-चढ़कर आगे आना चाहिए। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और केंद्रीय पंचायत राज मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह के प्रयासों से पंचायतों को सशक्त करने के लिए लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं इस व्यवस्था के तहत पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों को कई अधिकार दिए जा रहे हैं। 29 विषय हैं जिन्हें पंचायतों को कंट्रोल करना है और अपने क्षेत्र का विकास करना है।
पंचायत मंत्री ने उत्तराखंड में पंचायती राज विभाग द्वारा किए जा रहे कार्यों की जानकारी देते हुए कश्मीर से आए पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों को पंचायतों के सशक्तिकरण का मंत्र देते हुए कहा कि आप भी अपने पंचायतों की आय बढ़ाने का उपाय करें और उस आय से पंचायतों का विकास करें। ऐसी फसलों का उत्पादन करें जिसे बंदर नुकसान न पहुंचा सकें। मालाबार नीम, नींबू, आंवले आदि को लगायें। हमारे सम्मुख इस समय सबसे बड़ी चुनौती पंचायतों को स्वच्छ रखने की है इस विषय में भी हमें प्रमुखता से सोच रहे हैं। आपके यहां जो पंचायतों के सशक्तिकरण का मॉडल आया है उसमें सब को सम्मिलित होना चाहिए।
इस अवसर पर पंचायती राज विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक राजीव नाथ त्रिपाठी, जिला पंचायत राज अधिकारी विद्या सिंह सोमनाल सहित अनेक अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
