देहरादून। प्रदेश के पर्यटन, लोक निर्माण, सिंचाई, धर्मस्व एवं संस्कृति मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा से भाजपा शासित राज्यों में निर्देशक विवेक रंजन अग्निहोत्री द्वारा निर्मित फिल्म “द कश्मीर फाइल्स” को टैक्स फ्री करने का सुझाव दिया है। उन्होंने प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से भी इस फिल्म को टैक्स फ्री करने का अनुरोध किया है।
प्रदेश के पर्यटन, लोक निर्माण, सिंचाई, धर्मस्व एवं संस्कृति मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने बुधवार को राजभवन में बसंतोत्सव पर आयोजित पुष्प प्रदर्शनी में भाग लिया इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से हुई मुलाकात में उन्होंने 11 मार्च 2022 को रिलीज़ हो रही फिल्म “द कश्मीर फाइल्स” को टैक्स फ्री करने का अनुरोध किया।
श्री महाराज ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा को एक पत्र लिखकर सुझाव दिया कि 1990 के दशक में कश्मीरी पंडितों के पलायन की ऐतिहासिक घटना पर आधारित निर्देशक विवेक रंजन अग्निहोत्री द्वारा निर्मित फिल्म “द कश्मीर फाइल्स” को भाजपा शासित सभी राज्यों में टैक्स फ्री किया जाए।
उन्होंने कहा कि 1990 में जम्मू कश्मीर में हुआ नरसंहार और कश्मीरी पंडितों का पलायन एक ऐतिहासिक और हृदय विदारक घटना होने के साथ-साथ भारतीय राजनीति का अहम और संवेदनशील मुद्दा भी है। इसे पर्दे पर उतारना निश्चित रूप से एक सराहनीय प्रयास है। जम्मू कश्मीर के पलायन पर आधारित फिल्म “द कश्मीर फाइल्स” को देखकर कश्मीरी पंडितों की उस समय की स्थिति एवं परिस्थितियों को भली-भांति समझा जा सकता है।
