देहरादून 12 अप्रैल, 2021। बाबा अमरनाथ यात्रा की तर्ज पर तीर्थ यात्री अब उत्तराखंड के सीमांत जनपद चमोली की नीति घाटी में स्थित टिम्मरसैंण महादेव की यात्रा कर रहे हैं। बीते सात अप्रैल को विधिवत रूप से टिम्मरसैंण महादेव की यात्रा शुरू हुई थी। जिसके बाद से बर्फबारी के बीच स्थानीय लोग टिम्मरसैंण महादेव के दर्शन कर रहे हैं।
सीमांत जनपद चमोली के जोशीमठ ब्लॉक की नीति घाटी के अंतिम गांव से करीब एक किमी पहले टिम्मरसैंण में पहाड़ी पर स्थित गुफा के अंदर एक शिवलिंग विराजमान हैं। इस पर पहाड़ी से टपकने वाले जल से हमेशा अभिषेक होता रहता है। इसी शिवलिंग के पास बर्फ पिघलने के दौरान प्रतिवर्ष बर्फ शिवलिंग का आकार लेता है। जिसे बर्फानी बाबा या टिम्मरसैंण महादेव के नाम से जाना जाता है।
पर्यटन मंत्री श्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा, ‘‘उत्तराखंड के सीमांत जनपद चमोली की नीति घाटी स्थित टिम्मरसैंण में बाबा बर्फानी एक स्वयंभू शिवलिंग के रूप में विराजमान है। हर साल शीतकाल में बर्फ से 10 फीट से ऊंचा शिवलिंग बनता है। इस जगह पर भगवान शिव ने अपनी कैलाश यात्रा के दौरान रात्रि विश्राम किया था। इसलिए यह जगह सौसा महादेव के नाम से विख्यात है। अब श्रद्धालुओं को प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्र नीति घाटी जाने के लिए अनुमति लेने की जरूरत नहीं होगी। जिससे अब भक्तजन आसानी से टिम्मरसैंण महादेव की यात्रा कर भगवान शिव के दर्शन कर सकते हैं। यात्रा 7 से 30 अप्रैल तक जारी रहेगी। भगवान शिव की आस्था के प्रतीक बाबा बर्फानी के दर्शन करने वाले श्रद्धालुओं का प्रदेश सरकार स्वागत करती है।’’
जिला पर्यटन अधिकारी बिजेंद्र पांडेय ने बताया कि प्रशासन की ओर से जारी कोरोना गाइडलान के तहत ही यात्रा का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि श्रद्धालुओं को सुराईथोटा चैकपोस्ट पर पंजीकरण कराने के बाद यात्रा के लिए भेजा जा रहा है। बर्फबारी के दौरान दो दिन में स्थानीय लोगों ने ही बाबा बर्फानी के दर्शन किए। देश-विदेश से आने वाले तीर्थ यात्रियों के लिए टिम्मरसैंण की यात्रा सभी तैयारियां की गई हैं।
