पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज से एफएओ जापान के प्रतिनिधि टोमियो शिचिरिहे की शिष्टाचार भेंट

देहरादून। उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन विकास परिषद गढ़ीकैंट देहरादून कार्यालय में सोमवार को सतपाल महाराज, माननीय मंत्री, पर्यटन, लोक निर्माण, सिंचाई, जलागम, धर्मस्व एवं संस्कृति, उत्तराखंड सरकार से खाद्य कृषि संगठन (एफएओ) जापान के प्रतिनिधि टोमियो शिचिरिहे व जलागम प्रबन्ध निदेशालय उत्तराखराण्ड की निदेशक नीना ग्रिवाल ने मुलाकात की।

इस अवसर पर श्री सतपाल महाराज ने जापान से आये एफएओ के प्रतिनिधियों का उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन की पुस्तिका-पत्रिकाऐं व मोमेंटो भेंट स्वरूप देने के साथ साॅल उड़ाकर उनका स्वागत किया।

पर्यटन मंत्री श्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि एफएओ के प्रतिनिधि श्री टोमियो और उनकी टीम का मैं हदय से उत्तराखण्ड में स्वागत करता हूं। यह प्रसन्नता की बात है कि उनका उत्तराखण्ड में ‘‘वैश्विक पर्यावरण सुविधा’’ एक प्रोजैक्ट आया है। कोरोना महामारी के कारण इस प्रोजैक्ट में थोड़ा विलंब हुआ है। उन्होंने टोमियो शिचिरिहे से अनुरोध किया कि प्रोजैक्ट की समय सीमा को बढ़ाये।

पर्यटन मंत्री ने कहा कि आजकल आदमी व जानवरों में संघर्ष हो रहा है अतिक्रमण होने के कारण जंगल छोटे होते जा रहे हैं उसमें भी ये एफएओ की टीम हमारी मदद करेगी। इसके साथ साथ जो आदमी व जानवरों में संघर्ष हो रहा है उसमें वे निश्चित रूप से वे जाकर देखें कि जिन क्षेत्रों के अंदर यह संघर्ष हो रहा है उसके समाधान के लिए क्या-क्या उपाय किये जा सकते हैं लोगों को आजीविका के लिए क्या-क्या दिया जा सकता है इन सब चीजों पर विचार करके उसको यथार्त में और धरातल पर उतरा जायेगा। इससे उत्तराखण्ड का तेजी से विकास होगा उसके लिए मैं उनका और उनकी पूरी टीम का स्वागत करता हूं।

इस अवसर पर श्री टोमियो ने पर्यटन मंत्री को हरित पर्यावरण सुविधा (जीईएफ) के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी और बताया कि कैसे यह परियोजना उत्तराखंड को पुरुषों और जानवरों के संघर्ष को बनाए रखने और खेती के पारंपरिक तरीकों को बढ़ावा देने में मदद करेगी। जीईएफ साँझा वैश्विक पर्यावरण लाभों को प्राप्त करने के उपायों के बढ़ते खर्च को पूरा करने के लिए नये और अतिरिक्त अनुदान और रियायती कोष प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहयोग हेतु एक तंत्र के रूप में कार्य करता है।

इस अवसर पर श्री टोमियो ने कहा, “यह उत्तराखंड के लिए एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण परियोजना है। हमने पांच राज्यों को लक्षित किया है जिसमें उत्तराखंड एक है। हम अपने लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए जमीनी टीम के साथ मिलकर काम कर रहे हैं और स्टार्टअप्स को लागू कर रहे हैं। मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि यह परियोजना उत्तराखंड में बहुत उपयोगी परिणाम लेकर आएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह प्रोजैक्ट 40 करोड़ का है जो 2026 तक चलेगा।

इस मौके पर ईएओ सहायक प्रतिनिधि कोंडा रेड्डी, राकेश सिन्हा, परियोजना निदेशक जीईएफ 6 परियोजना, वर्धन रत्नला जीईएफ-6 परियोजना व उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन विकास परिषद की ओर से अपर निदेशक पूनम चंद, उपनिदेशक योगेन्द्र कुमार गंगवार मौजूद रहे।
