शीतलहर के बढ़ने से जन जीवन हुआ प्रभावित : शिक्षण संस्थानों में एक दिन का अवकाश घोषित
देहरादून । मौसम की पहली बारिश के चलते 
उत्तराखण्ड के कई स्थानों पर जमकर बर्फवारी हुई है जिसके चलते तापमान में भारी गिरावट देखने को मिली है। मौसम के हालतों को देखते हुए शासन द्वारा समस्त शिक्षण संस्थानों में एक दिन का अवकाश घोषित किये जाने का निर्णय लिया है।
मुख्य शिक्षा अधिकारी ने अवगत कराया है कि आयुक्त गढ़वाल मण्डल पौडी द्वारा प्राप्त निर्देशो के क्रम में 02 फरवरी 2024 को अत्यधिक शीतलहर के दृष्टिगत जनपद देहरादून के कक्षा 8 तक संचालित समस्त शैक्षणिक संस्थानों और आंगनबाडी केन्द्रों में दिनांक 02.02.2024 को एक दिन अवकाश घोषित किये जाने का निर्णय लिया गया है।
उन्होंने समस्त शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के संस्थाध्यक्षों को निर्देशित किया है कि शीतलहर के दृष्टिगत समस्त शासकीय/अशासकीय/निजी विद्यालय (कक्षा 8 तक), एवं आंगनबाडी केन्द्र 02.02.2024 को पूर्णतः बन्द रहेंगे। कक्षा 8 तक के (एकल) विद्यालय में कार्यरत शिक्षक/कार्मिकों का भी अवकाश रहेगा।
साथ ही जिन माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में कक्षा 6 से 8 संचालित होती है उन छात्र-छात्राओं का भी पूर्णतः अवकाश रहेगा एवं शिक्षक यथावत् कक्षा 9 से 12 तक अध्ययनरत छात्र-छात्राओं को अध्यापन कार्य करायेगे।
साथ ही समस्त संस्थाध्यक्ष यह भी सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि समस्त छात्र-छात्राओं की सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत प्रत्येक छात्र-छात्राओं एवं अभिभावकों तक अवकाश की सूचना अनिवार्यतः उपलब्ध हो सके।
जिलाधिकारी श्रीमती सोनिका ने जनपद में आदेशों का कड़ाई से परिपालन करवाने के निर्देश दिए।
