अंतराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन में महाराज ने बांधों की सुरक्षा व जल प्रबंधन पर की विस्तृत चर्चा
सिंचाई मंत्री ने जयपुर अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन में किया प्रतिभाग
देहरादून/जयपुर। प्रदेश के सिंचाई, लोक निर्माण, पर्यटन, पंचायतीराज, ग्रामीण निर्माण, संस्कृति, धर्मस्व एवं जलागम, मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने जल शक्ति मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा जयपुर, राजस्थान में “बांध सुरक्षा” पर प्रारम्भ हुए दो दिवसीय “अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन” में प्रतिभाग किया।
केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्रालय का जल संसाधन नदी विकास और गंगा संरक्षण विभाग का जयपुर राजस्थान में 14 से 15 सितंबर को बांध सुरक्षा पर दो दिवसीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का गुरुवार को शुभारंभ किया गया। सम्मेलन में जहां एक और विभिन्न राज्यों के सिंचाई मंत्री भाग ले रहे हैं वहीं प्रदेश के सिंचाई मंत्री सतपाल महाराज इस सम्मेलन में प्रतिभाग कर उत्तराखंड का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रहे हैं।
इस दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन में बांधों की सुरक्षा के साथ-साथ जल प्रबंधन और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर भी चर्चा हो रही है। सम्मेलन में दुनिया भर से इंजीनियर, नीति-निर्माता, उद्योग जगत के प्रतिनिधि, शिक्षक एवं अनुसंधान संस्थान, बांध सुरक्षा विशेषज्ञ समेत बांध मालिक भी भाग ले रहे हैं।
उक्त जानकारी देते हुए सिंचाई मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि इस सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य एक दूसरे के अनुभव साझा करने, तकनीकी प्रगति, बांध सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए नवीन दृष्टिकोण विकसित करने और संभावित सहयोग हेतु एक बेहतरीन मंच उपलब्ध करवाना है। इसके अलावा सम्मेलन में कई राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगठन प्रदर्शनी के माध्यम से बांधों और उनसे जुड़े कार्यों से संबंधित अपनी तकनीक, उत्पादन, उपकरणों और सेवाओं का प्रदर्शन भी कर रहे हैं।
सिंचाई मंत्री श्री महाराज ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड सरकार ने राज्य में बांध सुरक्षा अधिनियम 2021 को प्रभावी ढंग से क्रियान्वित करने हेतु बांध सुरक्षा पर राज्य बांध सुरक्षा समिति (SCDS) और राज्य बांध सुरक्षा संगठन (SDSO) का गठन किया गया है। जो लगातार बांधों की सुरक्षा हेतु समय-समय पर दिशा निर्देश जारी करने के साथ-साथ उनका अनुसरण भी करवा रही है।
कार्यक्रम में त्रिपुरा के मुख्यमंत्री माणिक साहा, उत्तर प्रदेश के सिंचाई मंत्री स्वतंत्र देव सिंह, सिक्किम के जल संसाधन मंत्री भीम हैंग लिंबू भी प्रतिभाग कर रहे हैं।
