देहरादून्। भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी (आईएमए) से 331 युवा अफसर देश सेवा के लिए सेना की मुख्यधारा में जुड़ गए। इसके साथ ही मित्र राष्ट्रों के 42 कैडेट्स भी पास आउट हुए। पासिंग आउट परेड की सलामी सेनाध्यक्ष जनरल मनोज पांडेय ने ली। अकादमी के ऐतिहासिक चेटवुड भवन के सामने ड्रिल स्क्वायर पर सुबह छह बजे परेड शुरू हुई। परेड के बाद पीपिंग सेरेमनी आयोजित की गई। इसके बाद देश और विदेश के 373 कैडेट्स अफसर बनकर अपनी सेनाओं की मुख्य धारा में जुड़ गए। 6 बजकर 47 मिनट एडवास कॉल के साथ ही छाती ताने देश के भावी कर्णधार असीम हिम्मत और हौसले के साथ कदम बढ़ाते परेड के लिए पहुंचे। परेड कमांडर मेहर बनर्जी ने ड्रिल स्क्वायर पर जगह ली। कैडेट्स ने शानदार मार्चपास्ट से दर्शक दीर्घा में बैठे हर शख्स को मंत्रमुग्ध किया।
परेड के बाद पीपिंग व ओथ सेरेमनी के बाद पासिंग आउट बैच के 373 जेंटलमैन कैडेट देश-विदेश की सेना में बतौर अफसर शामिल हो गए। इनमें 331 युवा सैन्य अधिकारी भारतीय थलसेना को मिले। इनमें डायरेक्ट एंट्री वाले 55 कैडेट्स शामिल हैं। जबकि, एक्स एनडीए 204 और एक्स एससी 40 कैडेट्स पास आउट हुए। 32 कैडेट्स टीजीसी कोर्स के हैं। आईएमए की स्थापना के बाद से अब तक यहां से 64862 देशी एवं विदेशी कैडेट्स पास आउट हो चुके हैं। वहीं, आईएमए के नाम अब तक 2885 विदेशी कैडेट्स को ट्रेनिंग देने का गौरव जुड़ गया है। इस बार भी उत्तर प्रदेश हर बार की तरह सबसे ज्यादा कैडेट्स देने वाला राज्य बना है। पास आउट हुए जैंटलमैन कैडेटों में उत्तर प्रदेश के 63, बिहार के 33, हरियाणा 32,
