राज्यपाल ने कहा कि तपभूमि, देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड पूरे भारत एवं विश्व की आध्यात्मिक चेतना का एक स्रोत है। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड न सिर्फ भारत अपितु पूरे विश्व को ऊर्जा देने में सक्षम है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह स्थान आदिकाल से ही परम ज्ञान का स्रोत रहा है। यहां समय-समय पर अनेक महापुरूष, तपस्वी, समाज सुधारक आये हैं और इस पवित्र भूमि को और अधिक जीवंत बनाने में अपना योगदान दिया।
राज्यपाल ने उत्तराखण्ड में योग, आयुर्वेद, हेल्थ एण्ड वेलनेस, हॉर्टिकल्चर, हॉस्पिटैलिटी आदि की असीमित संभावनाओं का जिक्र करते हुए देश और दुनिया के लोगों को देवभूमि पधारने का आमंत्रण दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि हाल ही में सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न किए गए जी-20 सम्मेलनों के माध्यम से उत्तराखण्ड की एक अलग पहचान स्थापित हुई है। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि अमृतकाल के इस दौर में हमारे सम्मुख अनेक चुनौतियां भी हैं जिनका सामना कर हमें अपने पुराने वैभव को प्राप्त करना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्व गुरु और विकसित भारत के लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रत्येक जन को अपना पूर्ण योगदान देना होगा।
