देहरादून। राज्य पर कुर्बानी देने वाले शहीद रविन्द्र रावत (पोलू ) की माता मंगला रावत (70) का अकस्मात निधन हो गया। उत्तराखण्ड राज्य आंदोलनकारी मंच द्वारा उनके निधन पर दुःख वयक्त कर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
प्रदेश प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि वह पिछले कुछ दिनों से महन्त इंद्रेश अस्पताल में भर्ती थी जहां उनका इलाज चल रहा था।
उनकी दोनो पुत्रियों की शादी हो चुकी थी इसलिए वह एकेली ही B ब्लॉक नेहरू कालोनी में अपने आवास पर निवास करती थी। आपको बताते चले की वर्ष 2016 में उनके पति श्री कुन्दन सिंह रावत जी का देहांत हो गया था। जगमोहन सिंह नेगी और केशव उनियाल ने कहा कि राज्य पर कुर्बानी देने वाले शहीद रविन्द्र रावत जी की माता को शत शत नमन है जिन्होंने ऐसे पुत्र को जन्म दिया। उत्तराखण्ड राज्य आंदोलन में 02 अक्तूबर 1994 को मुजफ्फरनगर में पुलिस की गोली से शहीद हुआ था रविन्द्र रावत (पाेलू) अपनी दो बहनों का इकलौता भाई था।
अंतिम संस्कार हेतु सुबह 11–30 बजे उनके निवास स्थान नेहरू कालोनी से ऋषिकेश पूर्णानंद घाट प्रस्थान किया।
