अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर की उत्तराखंड की पहली साइकिलिंग रेस का समापन
उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन विभाग के सहयोग से एडवेंथ्रिल ने आयोजित की साइकिल रेस
देहरादून। उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन विभाग के सहयोग से युवा साइकिलिस्ट स्वर्गीय तनिष्क की स्मृति में एडवेंथ्रिल की ओर से आयोजित फुटहिल्स एमटीबी चैलेंज साइकिलिंग रेस के दूसरे संस्करण का समापन हो गया। समापन के मौके पर मुख्य अतिथि उत्तराखंड पुलिस के महानिदेशक श्री अशोक कुमार, विशिष्ट अतिथि कर्नल अश्विनी पुंडीर अपर मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी पर्यटन (सहासिक विंग) और कर्नल हरिराज सिंह राणा ने प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को पुरस्कार व प्रमाण पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया।
दो दिवसीय साइकिल रेस में देस के 70 साइकिलिस्ट ने प्रतिभाग किया। पहले दिन की रेस देहरादून से शुरू होकर सरोना से सिल्ला रोड होते हुए मालदेवता में संपन्न हुई। दूसरे दिन की रेस मई म्यूसे आर्ट कैफे से शुरू होकर राजपुर से जंगल ट्रेल में होते हुए राजपुर में ही संपन्न हुई। रेस में भारतीय टीम के देवेंद्र ठाकुर, हिमाचल के स्टार साइकिलिस्ट आशीष शेरपा, डेविड कुमार, महाराष्ट्र के विट्ठल भोंसले, अरुणांचल प्रदेश के ताजुम डेरे, तमिलनाडु से विजय के, तमिल सेलवन, लद्दाख के सोनम नोरबू, उत्तराखंड के रजत पांडेय आदि शामिल हुए।
प्रतियोगिता के पुरुष वर्ग में प्रथम स्थान पर आने वाले प्रतियोगी को पचास हजार रुपये, द्वितीय स्थान के विजेता को तीस हजार, तृतीय स्थान के विजेता को बीस हजार रुपए की इनामी राशि से सम्मानित किया गया। वहीं, महिला वर्ग में प्रथम स्थान पर आने वाली प्रतियोगी को पच्चीस हजार, द्वितीय स्थान के विजेता को पंद्रह हजार, तृतीय स्थान के विजेता को दस हजार रुपये से सम्मानित किया गया। ओवरआल चैंपियन आशीष शेरपा बने, देवेंद्र ठाकुर द्वितीय स्थान पर और तीसरे स्थान पर डेविड कुमार रहे। एडवेंथ्रिल के संस्थापक विजय प्रताप सिंह ने सभी श्रेणी के विजेताओं को स्पीति साइकिलिंग टूर के फ्री कूपन देकर सम्मानित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन युवाओं को खेलों के प्रति और जागरूक करेंगे।
इस मौके पर रेफरी श्री विनोद सकलानी, अपूर्व सकलानी, श्री नरेश सिंह नयाल, कौशल पांडेय, शुभेन्द्र शाही, वैभव उनियाल, अश्मित रावत, यश आर्य, वेदांत रस्तोगी, गंभीर सिंह चौहान, अर्पन सिंह, आशुतोष आदि भी मौजूद रहे।

After I initially commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment. Perhaps there is an easy method you are able to remove me from that service? Many thanks.
