देहरादून, 6 मार्च। उत्तरांचल प्रेस क्लब और अविका केयर एंड हेरिटेज फाउंडेशन की ओर से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। रविवार को प्रेस क्लब के डॉ. पीतांबर दत्त बड़थ्वाल सभागार में आयोजित शिविर में वेलमेड हॉस्पिटल के विशेषज्ञ डाक्टरों की टीम ने 60 पत्रकारों और उनके परिजनों के स्वास्थ्य की जांच की। हृदय रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. अंजली शर्मा, स्त्री एवं प्रसूति रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. तरुश्री, जनरल सर्जन डॉ. ईशाख नबी, बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. प्रीति गुसाईं व फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट सुरेंद्र रावत ने सभी को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य के टिप्स व परामर्श दिया। शिविर में ईसीजी, बीपी, शुगर आदि की नि:शुल्क जांच की सुविधा भी दी गई।
इस अवसर पर आयोजित संक्षिप्त गोष्ठी में अविका केयर एंड हेरिटेज फाउंडेशन की निदेशक डॉ. नीतिका मेहता, स्त्री एवं प्रसूति रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. तरुश्री ने कहा कि महिलाएं परिवार की देखभाल में इस कदर व्यस्त रहती हैं कि स्वयं के स्वास्थ्य का ख्याल नहीं रख पातीं। उन्हें अपने परिवार के साथ-साथ अपने स्वास्थ्य का भी ध्यान रखना चाहिए। जनरल सर्जन डॉ. ईशाख नबी ने कहा कि अक्सर खासकर महिलाएं विभिन्न कारणों से अपने स्वास्थ्य संबंधी दिक्कतों को लेकर समय पर डॉक्टर्स के पास नहीं जातीं। इससे कई बार जिन स्वास्थ्य संबंधी दिक्कतों का निदान आरंभ में आसानी से हो सकता है, वे विलंब के कारण कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी में भी तब्दील हो जाती हैं। हृदय रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. अंजली शर्मा ने कहा कि आज के तनावपूर्ण माहौल में हृदय रोग संबंधी मामले तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं। महिलाएं भी इससे अछूती नहीं रह गई हैं। उनमें भी इस तरह के मामले बढ़ रहे हैं। अस्पताल के मार्केटिंग हेड विशाल सेठी ने कहा कि व्यस्तताओं के कारण पत्रकार खुद का और अपने परिवार के स्वास्थ्य का ध्यान नहीं रख पाते। वे किसी तरह की दिक्कत होने पर उसे अक्सर इग्नोर करते हैं, जो बाद में बड़ी समस्या में तब्दील हो जाती है। इसलिए, इस तरह के स्वास्थ्य कैंप उनके लिए काफी उपयोगी साबित हो सकते हैं। बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. प्रीति गुसाईं व फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट सुरेंद्र रावत ने भी स्वास्थ्य गोष्ठी में विचार व्यक्त किए।
प्रेस क्लब और अविका फाउंडेशन की ओर से सभी डाक्टरों एवं स्टाफ का आभार जताया और बुके एवं मोमेंटो देकर सम्मानित किया गया। प्रेस क्लब अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र अंथवाल, महामंत्री ओपी बेंजवाल, कोषाध्यक्ष नवीन कुमार ने वेलमेड के सभी डॉक्टर्स व फाउंडेशन का आभार व्यक्त किया। इस दौरान अस्पताल की पीआरओ साक्षी कोठियाल, नितिन कुमार, नर्सिंग स्टाफ नवनीता, रीता, रंजीत, स्वाति, श्वेता, साहिल आदि मौजूद रहे।
