देहरादून/चमोली/गोपेश्वर। चमोली जिले के जोशीमठ में स्थित प्रसिद्ध हिमक्रीड़ा स्थली औली में राष्ट्रीय शीतकालीन खेलों के दूसरे दिन राष्ट्रीय स्की एव स्नोबोर्ड चैंपियनशिप में महिला सीनियर सलालम रेस में हिमांचल की महिलाएं छाई रही। उत्तराखंड के औली में आयोजित नेशनल विंटर गेम्स के दूसरे दिन मंगलवार को अल्पाईंन स्कीइंग सीनियर केटेगिरी में सलालम रेस एवेंट हुए। जिसमें सेना रेड टीम और हिमांचल प्रदेश के महिला स्कियरों का दबदबा रहा। इस रेस के पुरुष वर्ग में सेना के टी० नोर्बु को गोल्ड, हिमाचल के योगेश को सिल्वर और सेना के ही सुनील कुमार ने कांस्य पदक झटका। वहीं महिला वर्ग में हिमांचल की संध्या ठाकुर ने गोल्ड, आँचल ठाकुर ने सिल्वर और तनुजा ठाकुर ने ब्रोंज मेडल अपनी झोली में डाले।
वहीं सलालम रेस अंडर 18 आयु वर्ग महिला स्पर्धा में उत्तराखंड की लड़कियों ने बाजी मारी है जिसमें सुहानी ठाकुर को गोल्ड, भारती भुजवान को सिल्वर और भावना कंडारी ने कांस्य पदक जीत औली नेशनल विंटर गेम्स में शानदार प्रदर्शन कर प्रदेश का नाम रोशन किया है।
पर्यटन विभाग, गढ़वाल मंडल विकास निगम, आईटीबीपी और उत्तराखंड स्कींइग एंड स्नो बोर्ड एसोसिएशन के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आयोजित हो रहे तीन दिवसीय खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में देश के 17 राज्यों के 250 खिलाड़ी प्रतिभाग कर रहे हैं।

अल्पाइन स्कीइंग के तहत सलालम और जायंट सलालम प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इनमें सीनियर वर्ग में महिला-पुरुष, जूनियर अंडर 21 आयु वर्ग, जूनियर अंडर 18 आयु वर्ग, सब जूनियर अंडर 16 आयु वर्ग और सब जूनियर अंडर 14 आयु वर्ग के बीच प्रतियोगिता कराई जा रही है। स्नोबोर्ड के तहत सीनियर वर्ग की महिला-पुरुष की सलालम और जायंट सलालम प्रतियोगिता होनी है। अंडर 19 आयु वर्ग और 17 आयु वर्ग के बीच भी मुकाबले हो रहे हैं।
