हरिद्वार। जनपद के प्रभारी मंत्री और प्रदेश के केबिनेट मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने जिला पंचायत कार्यालय सभागार हरिद्वार में अयोजित जिला पंचायत की तैमासिक बैठक में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया। बैठक में 2024-25 की जिला पंचायत विकास योजना (डीपीडीपी) तैयार करने, 44.5 करोड़ के बजट से क्षेत्र पंचायतों केे सशक्तिकरण, सदस्यों की एक्पोजर विजिट, हाट बाजारों की सफाई, जिला पंचायत की भूमिं का चिन्हिकरण कर उसके सदुपयोग की कार्ययोजना तैयार करने को लेकर चर्चा हुई।
शनिवार को आयोजित जिला पंचायत की त्रेमासिक बैठक में केबिनेट मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने एएमए जिला पंचायत को निर्देश दिये कि जिला पंचायत सदस्यों को अन्य राज्यों की पंचायतों के भ्रमण (एक्पोजर विजिट) के लिए प्लान तैयार करें। उन्होने एएमए जिला पंचायत को निर्देश दिये कि जनपद क्षेत्रांतर्गत आने जिला पंचायत की भूमि को चिन्हित करते हुए उसपर पार्किंग, दुकान, बारात घर जैसी परिसम्पत्तियों के निर्माण प्रस्ताव तैयार करवाना सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होेने कहा कि केन्द्र व राज्य सरकार निरंतर पंचायतों की आय बढाने व उनके सशक्तिकरण के लिए कार्य कर रही है।
