देहरादून। नेता प्रतिपक्ष यशपाल आर्य ने कहा है कि उत्तराखंड में लगातार बढ़ते सड़क हादसे चिंता का विषय बनते जा रहे हैं। नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने नैनीताल में ओखलकांडा विकासखंड के अधौड़ा-मिडार मोटर मार्ग पर एक टैक्सी वाहन के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने पर 8 लोगों के अकस्मात निधन एवं कुछ लोगों के घायल होने के बाद मौके पर जाकर वस्तुस्थिति देखने के बाद मीडिया के सामने ये विचार व्यक्त किये। उन्होंने कहा कि इस मोटर मार्ग पर यह दुर्घटना पहली दुर्घटना नहीं है इससे पहले हुई दुर्घटनाओं में पहले ही लोग भी लोग अपनी जान गंवा चुके हैं। नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि, दुर्घटनाओं के मामले में राज्य की सभी सड़कों का यही हाल है। उन्होंने बताया कि केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राज्य मार्ग मंत्रालय की ताजा रिपोर्ट के अनुसार प्रतिदिन औसतन राज्य के तीन लोग सड़क हादसे में अपनी जानें गवां रहे हैं। नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि पिछले कुछ सालों के सड़क दुर्घटना के आंकड़े बहुत ही चिंतनीय हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इन आंकड़ों के अनुसार साल 2019 में 1352 सड़क दुर्घटनाएं हुई जिनमें 867 लोगों की मौत हुई और 1457 लोग घायल हुए। साल 2020 में 1041 हादसों में 674 मौत और 854 घायल हुए, वर्ष 2021 में उत्तराखंड में 1405 हादसों में 820 लोगों की जान गई और 1091 लोग घायल हुए। कुल मिलाकर राज्य में पिछले चार सालों में सड़क हादसों में 3403 लोगों ने जान गंवाई है।
नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि रिपोर्ट के अनुसार सड़क हादसों का कारण खराब सड़कें हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि, उत्तराखंड में सड़कों की बदहाल हालत से न केवल आम लोगों को हर दिन परेशानी झेलनी पड़ रही है बल्कि जान भी गंवानी पड़ रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि, खस्ता हाल सड़कों के पीछे कारण प्रदेश में चरम पर पंहुच गया भ्रष्टाचार है। उन्होंने साफ किया कि, राज्य में सड़क निर्माण सेक्टर को सत्ता दल और अधिकारियों ने दुधारू गाय समझ लिया है। इन विभागों में कमीशन खोरी चरम पर है इसलिए सड़क निर्माण का पैसा सत्ता दल के नेताओं और अधिकारियों की जेबों में जा रहा है।
नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि, मुख्यमंत्री, शासन और प्रशासन भले ही प्रदेश की सड़कों को को गड्ढा मुक्त करने के लाख दावे करें लेकिन सच्चाई जनता अपनी आंखों से देख रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि, उत्तराखंड की सड़कें गड्ढा मुक्त होने के बजाय गड्ढा युक्त होती जा रही हैं और दिन- प्रतिदिन प्रदेश की सड़कों पर सफर करना आम नागरिकों के लिए जोखिम भरा साबित होता जा रहा है। नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि सड़कों के हालात इतने बिगड़ गए हैं कि अब आम जनता को सड़क मार्ग से सफर करने में डर लगने लगा है।
आर्य ने आरोप लगाया कि भाजपा चुनाव में तो डबल इंजन का वायदा करके भले ही सत्ता हासिल कर ले लेकिन हकीकत में उत्तराखंड में विकास का सिंगल इंजन भी काम नहीं कर रहा है। नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि जनता देख रही है कि, सरकार सड़कों के गड्ढे भरना तो दूर सड़को के किनारे की झाड़ियों का कटान तक नहीं करा पा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि खराब सड़कों के कारण आम नागरिकों का समय , धन व संसाधन भी लगातार नष्ट हो रहा है। जो गाड़ी पांच साल चलनी होती है वह गाड़ी दो साल में कंडम हो रही है और जो सफर एक घंटे में पूरा होना था उसके लिए तीन-तीन घंटे लग रहे हैं और जिस सफर के लिए एक लीटर इंधन फूंका जाना है, उस सफर के लिए तीन-तीन लीटर इंधन मजबूरी में फूंका जा रहा है। नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि बदहाल सड़कें, मस्त सरकार, बेपरवाह व्यवस्था, अफसरशाही की मौज और जनता की मौत यही उत्तराखंड की सच्चाई बन चुकी है। प्रश्न ये है कि राज्य में दुर्घटनाओं में हो रही मौतों का जिम्मेदार कौन है बदहाल सड़के, निष्क्रिय सरकार या लापरवाह अधिकारी।
