देहरादून । वर्षो से पेयजल समस्या से जूझ रहे राजपुर रोड बकराल वाला क्षेत्र के लोगो को अब पानी से मिलेगी राहत। राजपुर रोड-कुमार स्टोर से डॉक्टर गोदियाल डिस्पेंसरी तक पाईप लाईन डाली जा रही है। इस मौके पर विधायक खजान दास ने पारम्परिक विधिविधान से इस योजना का सुभारम्भ किया।
वार्ड नं 16 के अध्यक्ष दिनेश सेमवाल के नेतृत्व में सैकडों की संख्या में क्षेत्रवासी नई पाईप लाईन के उद्घाटन समारोह में एकत्र हुए।
श्री दिनेश सेमवाल ने बताया कि विगत कई वर्षों से पुरानी पाईप लाईन में पेयजल समस्या बनी हुई थी। पेयजल की पर्याप्त आपूर्ति ठप होने से क्षेत्रीय जनता को परेशानी से जुझना पड़ रहा था। ऐसे मे विधायक द्वारा नई पाईप लाईन डलवाने का अनुमोदन किया गया। जिसे स्वीकार कर लिया गया।
उन्होंने बताया कि राजपुर रोड में कुमार स्टोर से लेकर डॉक्टर गोदियाल तक,बकरलवाला में मोहन मंदिर के सामने वाली गली में और बकराल वाला में फरगर कंपाउंड में शेरिन के घर से ललित लॉरेंस के घर तक पाईप लाईन डाली जायेगी जिसकी अनुमानित लागत 30 लाख रुपए है।
श्री दिनेश सेमवाल ने बताया कि राजेश शर्मा के घर के सामने से स्वामी दर्शन भारती के घर तक की रोड, क्रिश्चयन कालोनी की रोड़ वा फरगर स्कूल की रोड़ जो क्षतिग्रस्त सड़क थी उसका निर्माण कार्य शुरु हो गया है।
