उनके किये गये कार्य आज भी किवदन्त्तियाँ बने हुए लोगों की जुबां पर सुनने को अक्सर मिलते रहते है।
पिछले काफी समय से महाविद्यालयों के अस्तित्त्व को बचाने व सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी एचएन बहुगुणा यूनिवर्सिटी के स्थान पर श्रीदेव यूनिवर्सिटी के नाम को स्थापित किये जाने के सियासी एलान को झूठलाते हुए वरिष्ठ राज्य आंदोलंकारी व डीएवी कॉलेज के पूर्व छात्र संघ अध्यक्ष विवेकानंद खंडूरी ने प्रधान मंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को भेजे पत्र में सारी परिस्थत्तियों से अवगत कराया। यही नहीं हर तरह से विवेकानन्द खंडूरी इसे रोंकने को अपने भगीरथी प्रयास में जुट गये।
आज उनके अथक प्रयासों से प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय से उक्त प्रकरण के बारे में
फोन के जरिये जो बातचीत हुई उससे एसा जान पड़ता है की अब
पीएम को भेजे गये पत्र पर कुछ स्कारात्मक पहल होने वाली है।
अगर सब कुछ ठीक हुआ तो ये आंदोलन श्री खंडूरी की सफलता के लिए मील का पत्थर साबित होगा।
