देहरादून। पर्यटन मंत्री श्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा है कि पर्यटन की दृष्टि से उत्तराखंड देश में सबसे उपयुक्त और महत्त्वपूर्ण स्थान है। सरकार का प्रयास है कि यहां वर्ष भर पर्यटन गतिविधियों को संचालित किया जाए।
पर्यटन मंत्री श्री सतपाल महाराज ने बिलखेत (सतपुली) पौड़ी गढ़वाल स्थित नयार वैली में 4 दिनों से चल रहे प्रथम साहसिक खेल महोत्सव के सफल आयोजन के लिए जिला प्रशासन को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश में साहसिक खेलों की अपार संभावनाएं हैं। उत्तराखंड साहसिक एवं रोमांचक खेलों के लिए एक बेहतरीन स्थान है। हमारा प्रयास है कि हम पर्यटन की अन्य गतिविधियों के अलावा यहाँ पर वर्ष भर साहसिक पर्यटन की गतिविधियों को संचालित कर स्थानीय लोगों को रोजगार उपलब्ध करवा सकें। श्री सतपाल महाराज ने नयार घाटी में मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा पैराग्लाइडिंग एकेडमी की घोषणा का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि इससे जहाँ एक ओर साहसिक खेलों को बढ़ावा मिलेगा वहीं दूसरी ओर इससे प्रदेश के युवाओं को रोजगार से जुड़ने के अवसर भी प्राप्त होंगे। उन्होने कहा कि सतपुली और खैरा सैण झील का निर्माण भी सरकार की प्राथमिकताओं में है। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शीघ्र ही इन झीलों के निर्माण का मार्ग भी प्रशस्त करेंगे। पर्यटन मंत्री श्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि उनका शुरू से ही प्रयास रहा है कि प्रदेश के साथ-साथ नयार घाटी में लगातार साहसिक पर्यटन गतिविधियों का संचालन कर स्थानीय लोगों को वर्ष भर रोजगार उपलब्ध करवाने की दिशा में कार्य किया जाए। इसी सोच को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए हाल ही में सतपुली में पर्यटक आवास गृह की आधारशिला भी रखी गई।उन्होने कहा कि प्रथम नयार वैली साहसिक खेल महोत्सव के आयोजन के बाद हम निश्चित रूप से अपने उद्देश्य में सफल होते दिखाई दे रहे हैं। श्री महाराज ने कहा कि राफ्टिंग, क्याकिंग और पैराग्लाइडिंग आदि साहसिक खेलों के लिए राज्य का पर्यटन विभाग पूरी मुस्तैदी के साथ कार्य कर रहा है। प्रदेश में नए-नए पर्यटक स्थलों को तलाश कर उनका सुनियोजित विकास किए जाने की दिशा में लगातार प्रयास चल रहा है। कोविड के चलते पर्यटन क्षेत्र में उत्पन्न हुए अवरोध को हमने अवसर में बलने काम किया है। स्थिति में तेजी से सुधार हो रहा है।
