नमो घाट पर आयोजित समापन समारोह में रामको ग्रुप के चेयरमैन ने कहा कि संगमम ने युवाओं को हमारी प्राचीन संस्कृतियों को जोड़ने और समझने का काम किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि काशी और तमिल के बीच सदियों पुराना संबंध रहा है, लेकिन ऐसा प्रतीत होने लगा था कि दोनों के बीच दूरी बढ़ रही है। ऐसे में प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की दूरदर्शी सोच जिसमें ‘एक भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत’ की परिकल्पना की गई थी वो इस संगमम के माध्यम से साकार हो गया। श्री पीआर वेंकटरामा राजा ने कहा कि काशी तमिल संगमम के दूसरे संस्करण के उद्घाटन अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री ने कन्याकुमारी से काशी के बीच ट्रेन का परिचालन शुरू किया, जो कि दोनों ही शहरों के लिए गर्व की बात है। इसके साथ कई ऐसी घोषणाएं हुई जो काशी और तमिल के बीच रिश्ते को और प्रगाढ़ करता है। साथ ही यहां पर आयोजित सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों ने भारत की पंरपरा को प्रस्तुत किया।
गौरतलब है कि काशी—तमिल संगमम के दूसरे संस्करण का आयोजन बनारस में 17 से 30 दिसंबर के बीच आयोजित किया गया। इससे पूर्व विगत वर्ष 2022 में नवंबर—दिसंबर माह में काशी तमिल संगमम के पहले संस्करण का आयोजन किया गया था। इस वर्ष काशी तमिल संगमम में सात अलग—अलग समूहों में 1500 से अधिक प्रतिनिधियों ने हिस्सा लिया। ये प्रतिनिधि काशी के अलावा प्रयागराज और अयोध्या के भ्रमण पर भी गए।
