देहरादून। रविवार को देवभूमि विकास संस्थान देहरादून द्वारा अमरीक हॉल रेसकोर्स देहरादून में मेगा रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। रक्तदान शिविर में प्रदेश के महामहिम राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल (रिटायर्ड) गुरमीत सिंह, प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत, स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत देहरादून मेयर सुनील उनियाल गामा सहित विभिन्न गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने प्रतिभाग किया। इस दौरान भारी संख्या में लोग रक्तदान करने पहुंचे, खासकर युवाओं में रक्तदान को लेकर खासा जोश देखने को मिला।
प्रदेश में डेंगू महामारी से लड़ने हेतु किसी मरीज के लिए रक्त की कमी महसूस न हो इसे देखते हुए देवभूमि विकास संस्थान द्वारा प्रदेशभर में कई स्थानों पर रक्तदान शिविरों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है, इसी कडी में आज देहरादून में मेगा रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर अब तक के विभिन्न रक्तदान शिविरों में अपना सहयोग देने वाले संस्थाओं व व्यक्तियों को राज्यपाल के हाथों सम्मानित भी किया गया।
रक्तदान शिविर में बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लेने के लिए सीआईएमएस एंड यूआईएचएमटी ग्रुप ऑफ कॉलेज देहरादून को भी राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत व स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने संयुक्त रूप से सम्मानित किया। संस्थान की तरफ से ग्रुप के चेयरमैन एडवोकेट ललित मोहन जोशी ने यह सम्मान ग्रहण किया। उन्होंने यह सम्मान ग्रहण करते हुए देवभूमि विकास संस्थान का धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा कि उनका संस्थान आने वाले समय में भी किसी भी सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी को निभाने के लिए हमेशा तत्पर रहेगा। देवभूमि विकास संस्थान के सहयोग से सीआईएमएस एंड यूआईएचएमटी ग्रुप ऑफ कॉलेज में भी 6 सितंबर 2023 को रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया था जिसमें 100 से यूनिट रक्तदान कर युवाओं ने रक्तदान महादान के संकल्प को साकार करने का प्रण लिया।
